HMS PINAFORE Gilbert and Sullivan

This comic opera has been described as one of the best loved of all time.  It is set on the deck of HMS Pinafore in Portsmouth Harbour and makes fun of the old class system so wickedly that Queen Victoria said that she was not amused.  Sullivan fully displays his magical gift for melody whereas the wit from Gilbert is devilishly funny.  In spite of its age, this show still provides a very rewarding evening's entertainment.  Proceeds will go to support local or national charities
