Magical Music 2023

IN SUPPORT OF PORTHCAWL RNLI

The seventy strong Dave Hughes Orchestra and the seventeen voices of The Meryn Williams Singers, will perform some of the best in musical theatre, cinema and television.

Hosted by actor and voice artist Wayne Forester, the concert will feature solo performances by singers Harmony McCarthy, Sarah Morris and Rhian Hughes, along with violinist Carl Darby and tenor saxophonist Dick Hamer. There is something for everyone in this evening of sparkling entertainment.

Presenter Wayne Forester, originally from Porthcawl, has worked as an actor and voice artist for over 20 years, appearing in countless radio dramas, animation series and computer games. Animation credits include the BAFTA nominated Horrid Henry, new Captain Scarlet, Magic Roundabout (ITV) and the Royal Television Award-winning series The Roly Mo Show (Cbeebies).

Having first performed at the Grand Pavilion in 2010, Magical Music is once again supporting Porthcawl RNLI. This will be the eleventh in the series of charity fundraising concerts which to date have raised over £44,000.
