Accessible seating: How to book

We want everyone to have the best possible theatre experience. You will be able to book Audio Described (AD), BSL/Captioned, and relaxed performances online with us, however you may need to book accessible seats and other access requirements directly with our box office team. This ensures the venue can provide the support you need.

Our facilities

The newly redeveloped Y Muni is accessible on all levels, for the first time, with an accessible balcony for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.

If you have an access requirement, please phone 03300 554488 or email box.office@awen-wales.com.

Changing Places

There is a Changing Places facility on the ground floor, with a hoist, privacy screen and height adjustable changing bench.

Accessible Waymarking

All waymarking signage is in braille and Welsh braille.

Join Hynt

Hynt is an access scheme which offers cardholders a free ticket for their companion, carer or personal assistant. It’s also a resource for anyone that needs specific access information to plan a trip to the theatre.

If you have a specific access requirement, or care for someone that does, then Hynt applies to you. You can book Hynt tickets on our website, once you have registered your Hynt card on our database. You can also book a Hynt ticket over the phone.
