Comedy Club @ Y Muni

Get ready to laugh out loud at Y Muni with our brand new Comedy Club/Clwb Comedi!

Join us in the Festri for regular nights of top-notch comedy featuring a brilliant mix of local talent and touring pros, all served up with big belly laughs and good vibes.

Headlining will be Paul Hilleard:

BBC New Comedian of the Year 2024, Channel 4’s Sean Lock Award finalist 2025 and winner of Chortle Hotshots 2026 debuts this Fringe! Hailing from Pontypridd in the South Welsh Valleys, Paul shares experiences of growing up in a deprived area. Expect dry oddball observations from the Valleys and beyond!

Opening the night Y Muni welcomes Phil Cooper. Hailing from The Rhondda Valley, Phil blends Welsh charm with observational, sometimes slightly surreal humour, often riffing off social justice themes and audience interactions. He stands out with his unique mix of storytelling, sharp wit and a relaxed yet engaging demeanour.

Also on the lineup will be Shawnee Farrell. “Shawnee is a near the knuckle Brummie who’s desperate not to take it all too seriously”

The night will be tied together with our MC Steffan Evans. Originally from rom Eglwyswrw in Pembrokeshire, Evans is a comedian with a unique insight into the world. He supported Elis James on his national tour in 2017 and also appeared on S4C’s “Gwerthu Allan” and “O’r Diwedd” shows. He has been a prominent contributor to the BBC’s hit Sesh digital videos.
