Creative Writing and Performance Workshop

A creative writing and performance based workshop that will follow the techniques used to create My Mix(ed Up) Tape.

Working with the writer and performer Katie Payne and with the integration of music by live DJ Glade Marie. Young people will get the opportunity to write a monologue, experiment with music and then perform their creations. DJ Glade Marie will mix live music in response to the young people’s speeches. This will then lead them perfectly into the performance to see how these techniques build into a full scale performance.
