Free Music Friday – Bethan Nia (Met)

With her harp and ethereal vocals, Bethan Nia creates lush, dynamic melodies with crisp production aesthetics. Combining earthy Welsh folk songs with her own song writing and ornate arrangements, she creates a particularly unique sound. Bethan is a winner of the coveted Danny Kyle award at Celtic Connections. She has played many festivals, including Lorient Inter-Celtic, and Glastonbury Festival – after meeting Michael Eavis on a train! She recently played at the British Embassy in Paris. Her bilingual debut album, “Ffiniau”, was released in 2021 to positive reviews.
