This night is all about giving acts and audiences alike a fun and friendly place to express themselves, kick back, have a laugh and good time in an inclusive and welcoming comedy club environment.
Whether it’s comedy, cabaret or anything in between – Laugh Out Proud is the queer night out you’re looking for.
Laugh Out Proud at Pride In Ponty will feature the stand-up-comedy delights of Mark Cram, Jessie Nixon and Morgan Rees!

Morgan Rees is a highly acclaimed stand-up, writer and actor. This energetic and hilarious Welshman boasts shows full of one-liners, rolling stories and superb observations. A greatly in-demand stand-up, Morgan can be seen regularly at all major comedy clubs throughout the country.
While not performing, Morgan writes for other comedians and supplies additional material for flagship shows such as Mock The Week, The Great American Joke-Off etc. He’s the co-writer of the YouTube sensation Uncle Roger, and was co-writer of the Broadcast Award nominated sketch-show, East Mode on Comedy Central.

Jessie Nixon’s credits include tour support for Fern Brady, Alfie Brown, and Lou Sanders. She has an impressive roster of achievements under her belt as third runner up in the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 as well as BBC New Comedian of the Year Regional Finalist 2021, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the year Nominee 2021, and more! Between her effervescent, winning comedy, and her growing list of accolades, Nixon is an act not to be missed.

Mark Cram is quite the all-rounder; with both a killer set and strong MC-ing chops. For the last few years Mark has been plying his comedy trade across the UK. Constantly evolving, usually unpredictable; he is garnering positive reactions everywhere he goes. Mark thrills crowds with his tales of dead-end jobs, his family and being the less than grateful winner of Bedford Comedian of the Year.
