The Maesteg Stomp: Twmpath

An Unmissable Night of Welsh Folk Dance and Live Music!

Join us in the majestic Main Hall of Maesteg Town Hall for a joyful two-hour Twmpath – a vibrant Welsh folk dance event full of energy, tradition, and community spirit!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, our lively Caller will guide you through every step. With the irresistible sounds of accordion, fiddle, double bass, and bodhrán filling the hall, you won’t be able to stay in your seat for long.

A Twmpath is Wales’ answer to a barn dance or ceilidh – a fun, social gathering where everyone’s welcome and no experience is needed. It’s the perfect way to connect, move, laugh, and celebrate Welsh culture together.

Come with friends, bring the family, or just turn up and join the dance – you’ll be swept up in the rhythm before you know it!
