Whimsy: Imaginative storytelling at Pyle library - Bridgend Children's Literature Festival
Inspiring a lifelong love of reading, celebrating stories and bringing books to life.
Yn ysgogi cariad oes at ddarllen, yn dathlu straeon ac yn dod â llyfrau’n fyw.

This imaginative storytelling session shares with young people the joys of using movement and drawings to bring words to life!

Whimsy, written by writer and dancer Krystal S. Lowe, is the story of a young girl who sees beauty in everything but herself. Through her love of nature, and her adventures flying with birds, running with squirrels, and gliding with ducks, Whimsy comes to see the beauty that has been inside her all along.

The session will begin with a reading of 'Whimsy', then children will explore, alongside the author, how to bring the story to life through moving like the animals Whimsy discovers.

Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult. Children's tickets are free, but must be booked in advance. Accompanying adults do not require a ticket.
