Dementia-friendly cinema day: Blue Hawaii

Y Muni is proud to host a day full of fun, food and film for Dementia Awareness Week.

Join us from 11am for a short piece of theatre by the fabulous Kitsch N Sync collective called Ecstatic Cinematic, which has been created with a dementia-friendly audience in mind.

This will be followed by an immersive memory cafe in the Festri bar, with complementary tea, coffee, sandwiches and Welsh cakes to enjoy with friends, while sharing memories.

To finish the day, enjoy a screening of Elvis classic Blue Hawaii – a musical-comedy featuring the hit song Can’t Help Falling in Love and the wonderful Angela Lansbury.
