Awen Tech: Q-Lab and Video

Introducing Awen Tech.

A brand new, FREE short course led by industry professionals, which will equip you with the hands-on skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career working behind-the-scenes on live events, stage performances and location-based productions.

The creative, vocational skills-based training is available for anyone aged 16 and over, living in Blaenau Gwent. The evening course runs in short blocks – you can choose to sign up for one, more or all of the modules. No previous experience required.

Q-Lab & Video: starting 11 September 2023 (every Monday for four weeks). Join Awen’s professional theatre technicians to learn the skills required for Q-Lab – powerful MacOS software for designing and playing back sound, video, light and show control cues. A flexible, reliable and user-friendly tool used across all professional theatres and events venues.
