Awen Tech: Stage Management

Introducing Awen Tech.

A brand new, FREE short course led by industry professionals, which will equip you with the hands-on skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career working behind-the-scenes on live events, stage performances and location-based productions.

The creative, vocational skills-based training is available for anyone aged 16 and over, living in Blaenau Gwent. The evening course runs in short blocks – you can choose to sign up for one, more or all of the modules. No previous experience required.

Stage Management and Design: starting 15 January 2024 (every Monday for four weeks), learn stage management skills as diverse as working with rigging and flying set ups, props, stage markings, costume and set design.

Awen Tech is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in partnership with Blaenau Gwent CBC.
