Tone within public speaking refers to two key aspects – firstly, the tone of the content of the talk. Is it emotive? Inspirational? Informative? But tone is also about how we get this information across using our unique communication style. We don’t want to lose our ‘voice’, we want the authentic person to be on show. But we also want to keep our audience engaged. This workshop will provide an opportunity to think about how we can present in a way that feels natural and engaging
